“No trading” on the following days in 2023

After covid tenure, it is observed that the number of investors and traders in India has increased significantly and hence it becomes important to keep a note of those days on which the stock market will remain closed. The stock market has entered 2023 and the stock exchange has already issued its list of trading holidays. This year there will be 15 holidays as mentioned on the stock exchange Website.

  1. January – 26 January – Republic day
  2. February – No holiday in February, which is good news for traders
  3. March is coming up with two holidays – 7 March – Holi and 30 March – Ram Navami
  4. April – Maximum holidays are gonna fall in this month, Three holidays i.e. 4 April – Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday on 7 April, and Dr. Baba saheb Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April
  5. May – 1 May – Maharashtra Day.
  6. June – 28 June – Bakri Id
  7. July is going to be a happy month, as there are no holidays in that month
  8. August -15 August – Independence Day.
  9. September – 19 September – Ganesh Chaturthi
  10. October is gonna be a month of holidays – 2 October is Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and 24 October – Dussehra
  11. November is also coming with two holidays i.e. 14 November – Diwali and 27 November – Guru Nanak Jayanti
  12. December – 25 December – Christmas

So, maximum holidays are gonna fall in the month of “March, April, October, and November” and there will be no holidays in the month of “February and July”
